CREATING A GOOD FIRST IMPRESSION

Ian at Signs of Style has hand painted "Sussex House" above the front door.  I chose a scroll font that's in keeping with the period of the house (mid 18th Century).  The top of an original Georgian period entrance light can also been seen in the photo.  Once the scaffolding is removed the rest of the light will be installed and the entrance will be fully revealed.  A lot of time and effort has been spent refurbishing the entrance. As with much of the house, the pillars and door were in a poor state of repair.  After weeks of preparation, repairs and finally decorating the entrance is now finally creating a good first impression.
