EXCAVATION WORK HAS BEGUN
Sussex House Lewes - Georgian Renovation - 5th October 2018 6.jpg

We’ve started excavating the rear. The disabled access at the rear of the house has been dug up to make way for a patio at basement level leading to a tiered garden. A double height extension will be built in the opening below the steels and drop down to the basement. Significant underpinning is required to support the garden walls and parts of the back of the house.

This image of the rear of the house prior to excavation shows how much excavation was required to remove the disabled access ramp and create the patio space and tiered garden.
